Great Course
Maesdu Golf Club is rated one of the best courses in North Wales, we have over 100 years of fantastic history. The course is mainly parkland with a couple of links holes down near the sea. The views across the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia Mountains are truly fantastic.
Value For Money
As a members’ club we do our very best to keep the annual subscription affordable and offer a variety of categories to suit all golfers. Our 2024 full adult membership is just £795 and there is no joining fee. All annual subscriptions can be paid on a monthly direct debit scheme using Premium Credit.
Regular Members Times
As a valued member you will have morning and lunch time priority booking. Our online booking system offers 14 days advance booking for midweek and 10 days for weekends.
Regular Competitions
As well as being able to enjoy social golf at Maesdu we have plenty of competitions for everyone. Our very popular Senior section play competitions on a Monday and Wednesday, Ladies on a Tuesday and Thursday and Gents on a Saturday and Sunday.
Members Guests
A huge benefit to membership at Maesdu is that you can invite up to three guests to play at a discounted rate of £20 per person during the winter and £25 in the summer. (excluding New2Golf year 1, Pay & Play and Twilight)
Reciprocal Golf
As a member of Maesdu you not only get the benefit of playing a great course and having clubhouse and catering facilities to be proud of. Maesdu has reciprocal links with Abergele, Caernarfon, Conwy, Denbigh, Llangollen, North Wales, Rhos-on-Sea and Rhuddlan golf clubs. This means you can visit these clubs and receive discounted green fees.
Hospitality
Aside from the golf at Maesdu we are very fortunate to be able to offer great clubhouse facilities. Our open plan lounge and dining room really is a very pleasant place to relax after your round. We offer good home cooking and a well stocked bar which offers a 20% discount on all drinks for members. So, whether you’re looking for a bite to eat or an A la Carte menu, we cater for it all!
We have a covered outside seating area where you can enjoy a meal and a drink, and on a nice summers evening the views are truly stunning!
Networking Benefits
This is an area of golf club membership that is generally not considered. Local businesses and tradesmen get access to a whole new customer base, as a member you would be able to speak to and engage with hundreds of potential new customers.
Health Benefits
It’s a fact… during an 18 hole round you will walk approximately 5 miles and burn around 2000 calories. This added to the clean, fresh welsh air provides a great way to keep fit and healthy.
Friendship
This is probably the most valued part of club membership… the sense of belonging is priceless! We have had many golfers join the club without regular golfing partners and now they are playing regularly with groups of other members and enjoying their golf. Golf has a great way of helping people meet new people and great friendships are often built on the course.
