We offer a New 2 Golf membership scheme for adults who have never played before. Full support and guidance on etiquette will be given by the club Professional, Anthony Middleton, throughout your membership and the club offers a buddy scheme for anyone who would like the extra support.
We start with year one, the membership fee includes three individual lessons with the club Professional, Anthony. You will be able to use all the practice facilities and have full use of the clubhouse. Once you have gained a little experience Anthony will give you permission to play the course during quiet times, this will help to build your confidence and be less intimidating than playing on a busy course.
On completion of year one you will most definitely have the golfing bug and be eager to progress to year two. You will have full access to the course and be registered for our online booking system, where you can book and amend your tee times online. You will now be able to gain a handicap and be invited to play in selected club competitions, if you wish.
Once you reach year three, you will enjoy a full golfing membership with no course restrictions, you can take part in all club and open competitions if you wish.

Social Membership is available for those who like to enjoy the feeling of club membership without playing golf. This membership offers full use of our clubhouse facilities which include the Bar (including a members discount of 20%), the Restaurant offering good home cooked food at very competitive prices and the many Social Functions which are arranged throughout the year. The application of each new Social Member will need to be supported by two current golfing members.
The cost for 2024 is £43 for a single person or £65 for a couple.
Maesdu is open to all of the community including those on modest or low incomes. Any member or prospective member whose financial circumstances do not allow them to pay an annual membership subscription and associated costs of more than £520.00 is invited to apply to the Secretary and demonstrate that any sum above this figure is not affordable to them. An application will then be considered by the Management Committee and if accepted an alternative fee structure will be offered to the applicant. Please contact the Manager in writing.
